Designed for performance and usability, Catalyst delivers a fully extensible and customizable desktop trading environment. Its powerful front end enables traders to easily customize or create functionality to achieve trading objectives and execute strategies. Operators drag & drop components to create a strategy, set trading parameters, run a back-test using historical data, and validate the concept—all within minutes—without the need to employ expensive programming resources. Also joining the line-up of Catalyst Marketplace apps is SURFACEwave, from SURFACExchange, providing the world's first fully electronic, completely anonymous central limit order book for foreign exchange (FX) options for institutional clients. SURFACEwave, offers institutional users globally sourced price discovery, liquid and bespoke trading strategies, transaction anonymity, and straight-through processing of all transactions hosted on the SURFACExchange.
